Welcome to the Kenyon Chapter
of the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children
The National Association for the Education for Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving and enhancing the quality of life for all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8. Founded in 1926, NAEYC is the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 100,000 members, a national network of over 300 local, state, and regional Affiliates.
New Jersey’s Kenyon Chapter serves the Middlesex and Union counties and is currently the largest NJ affiliate group with over 700 members (and growing!). Our members are teachers, administrators, policymakers, college students, community leaders, parents and many others who are dedicated to advocating for young children and working toward bringing high-quality early childhood care and education to all young children. Kenyon Chapter supports early childhood professionals through offering a variety of professional development and training opportunities throughout the year as part of their membership benefits. The benefits of a Kenyon Affiliate membership are generous and rewarding:
